The final ATP championship is held annually in London at The O2 arena on hard surface. The ATP World Tour Finals is the final tennis event in ATP tour season. Tennis players and doubles who were able to show the best results for the entire sport year participate in the prestigious championship. This is a very significant event in the world of men’s tennis which attracts thousands of spectators from around the globe.

The first tournament was organized in 1970 and it is held in London since 2009. Top eight tennis players in singles and top eight pairs, based on results of the season, take part in the championship. They are divided into two groups in which each tennis player meets a competitor in turn. Two of the best representatives of the group get into semi-finals, followed by finals.

Tennis players must meet certain criteria, based on special rating, in order to take part in Baclays ATP World Tour Finals. All winners of the tournament will certainly receive a reward – one of them is awarding ATP rating points. Prize fund of the championship is US$6,000,000 which is one the largest prizes
in tennis history. Current champion of ATP World Tour Finals in singles is Novak Djokovic and in doubles – Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan.
