The latest word tour of the famous Irish rock band “U2 iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour 2015” was a great success. It started in North America in 2015 and later on U2 visited Europe with concerts in Stockholm in September and London in October 2015.

This time the cult rockers U2 have announced a large-scale concert tour which is dedicated to the 30th anniversary since the release of their album “The Joshua Tree”. The tour kicks off on May 12 in Vancouver, Canada and until June the group will perform in North America and then move on to Europe. The first European show U2 within “U2: The Joshua Tree Tour 2017″ will be held in London on 8th of July.

The album “The Joshua Tree” was released on March 9, 1987. The album was the fifth studio work of U2. It topped the charts in 20 countries and received rave reviews from critics. The album brought the musicians to international fame – they became the fourth group whose picture was placed on the cover of Time magazine. Several songs from the album have become the hallmark of the group – “With or Without You”, “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” and “Where the Streets Have No Name”. In 1988, the album received Grammy awards in two categories: “Album of the Year” and “Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal”.
